This doesn't usually happen to me. I usually have trouble admiting I disliked a book. But now that I think about it, I do have one. two actually:
Miley Cyrus, Miles To Go. DON'T laugh at me! I enjoyed it xD. I have it burried in the back of my bookshelf and nobody except for me and the cashier of Borders knows I have it.
And
Alice In Wonderland. I usually never admit this is my favorite book of ALL TIME. Why? last time I was discussing it, they said it was a book for dumb five-year-olds. Low Blow guys. LOW blow u_u
and now you know.
Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy For Books.
This is hilarious considering that our "April Fool's Day" comes September 28 (I live in Mexico).
Best prank someone has ever played on me:
Me and my brother went to McDonalds. he said that if I yelled at the top of my lunges MC! the employees would yell Donalds. They didn't.
Best Prank I've ever done:
Me and my brother went out for some Sushi. It was his first time and I told him that Wasabi was Guacamole. Payback's a Bitch ain't in?
And newly added to the In between Blog:
TGIF, hosted by GReads
Alice from Alice in Wonderland. or maybe not exactly Alice 'cause she's kind of a nut case - or genius, there's a thin line between those two - I love more her story and all the things she goes through.
Dylan from Take Me There. He may be a guy but, he's one of the most beautiful characters I've ever encountered. The way words are inside of him and it seems like there's not enough paper or ink to write them down. and that when everything is lost, writing is his salvation.
and Lily from Hex, A Witch And Angel Tale. I swear, being inside her head, was like being inside of my own. We both have this rumbling inside of our minds and the "good voice" and "bad voice". Love her :)
This was all for Blessed Fridays, thanks for following ;)
Nice post! Don't feel bad about liking Alice! I get a lot of stares when I say Harry Potter's my fav book.
ReplyDeleteAt first I wasn't going to participate in this week's Book Blogger Hop. I'm not even sure why.
ReplyDeleteBut here I am. And I'm glad! To dispel any false impressions people may have had about me being a old, stodgy fuddy-duddy I'm happy to share some of my very best pranks with you.
Highlights include - low-grade explosives, eggs and salt shakers. Get all the side-splitting details over on my blog - http://www.howardsherman.net
They date back to my younger years as a Brooklyn boy which brings about some introspection.
I'm going to go pull some pranks today. Look out world! I'm coming out of prankster retirement!

The wasabi / guacamole is a popular prank in California too. April Fool's Day is a non-event for me. Come see why. Happy blog hop.
ReplyDeleteHopping through and now following, too! You have such an adorable blog, love your bow ties :)
ReplyDeleteI quite enjoyed Alice and Wonderland, too... totally not a book for dumb five year-olds!
Take care & happy reading,

Amber
The Musings of ALMYBNENR
Not fair Lisa!
ReplyDeleteThis was supposed to be judgment free!
but anyways... I didn't like the book that much... as a matter of fact, I haven't read it more than 1 or 2 times... seriously.
You judgmental person xD
Nice post. I also like Harry Potter and in fact still have the music for a ring tone when my husband rings my iphone - clearly not cool judging by the scores of school kids on the train yesterday - LOL!
ReplyDeleteLOL - Sounds like you and your brother have a fun relationship!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you via the Hop.
Wonderful choices that I had not considered for characters. Who doesn't enjoy Alice? I know I have. Great picks.
