My Review:
I remember when I finished this book, I was sitting in my bed, hugging my knees to my chest, completely lost in thought, not really in shock but my mind was definitely working full speed.
I didn’t felt heartbroken with this book, I knew what I was getting into, the summary says it all, also the fact that his is sort of a known subject, there are movies with these theme, like the one with Sandra Bullock – Can’t remember the name of the movie – What made this book so great are the characters and the situations Sam – Main Character – is into. She’s what you’d call a Mean Girl, ok, I’ll say it: A Bitch. She dies. But she also gets a second chance. A few actually, so as soon as she understands this she sets of to make everything in her life right.
A friend of mine found the process of waking up again in the same day and stuff to be to tedious for her and barely managed to finish, I never found it tedious. I was anxious with every upcoming day to see what she would change, what truths where left to unravel and which ones was she willing to take to the grave. I was literary grasping the book as I read, it actually managed to survive just because it’s a hardcover, still, you can notice I was on edge.
It does not have a Happy Ending, neither a Sad one, it’s just an Ending. Lauren Oliver definitely did a great job and I have become one of her fans. You’ll have no other reason but to Fall… for this book <3
A Really Good Book!
A Really Good Book!
"Maybe you can afford to wait. Maybe for you there's a tomorrow. Maybe for you there's one thousand tomorrows, or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in it, roll around it, let it slide like coins through you fingers. So much time you can waste it.
But for some of us there's only today. And the truth is, you never really know."
