Summary:
Clara's relationship with Christian is intense from the start, and like nothing she’s ever experienced before. But what starts as devotion quickly becomes obsession, and it's almost too late before Clara realizes how far gone Christian is—and what he's willing to do to make her stay.
Now Clara has left the city—and Christian—behind. No one back home has any idea where she is, but she still struggles to shake off her fear. She knows Christian won't let her go that easily, and that no matter how far she runs, it may not be far enough....

My Review:
Definitely a keeper.
My Fairy God Mother gave me this book – My Fairy God Mother being an amazing girl named Kristina - I had been wanting to read this book for so long and I’m so glad to say that it definitely lived up to expectations. This is my first Deb Caletti book and I’m still slapping myself for not picking up her books sooner. New Deb Caletti Fan Right Here :)
I had it as an e-book and I don’t recall marking so many pages in a book, My brother actually bought me the hardcover book – He’s my Fairy God Father now – and based on the e-book I’m marking all my favorite pages in it right now, it’s gonna take a while.
I think that even though the book mainly focuses on Clara’s relationship with Christian, it still touches so many different and important subject, with so many metaphors that you need to read carefully and absorb as much as you can.
A book that has so much to Give. What you need to get all the magic of Stay: an open heart, an open mind, a pen to mark your favorite pages and with that, Stay will make its way to your favorites in no time. Just Buy It.
Side Note: My Favorite Character was Clara's Dad :))
"My father said that love at first sight should send you running, if you know what's good for you. It's your dark pieces having instant recognition with their dark pieces, he says. You're an idiot if you think it means you've met your soul mate. So I was an idiot."

ReplyDeleteI bought this book a few weeks ago from borders with no idea when I would read it or even if I would read it. This review just piched it up a notch in my list of books I plan to read (it is a very long list though)
