Featured this week:
1. In Between Writing and Reading what do you like to do?
A bit of everything: I love to spend time with friends and family, shop, go out to eat, swim, and geek out my TV shows (Bones, The Vampire Diaries, and Once Upon a Time!) I'm also a writer, not published, but definitely interested, and my writing is my heart, pretty much. I talk to my characters and love them to an extent that most people don't understand.
2. Convince me to join your blog twitter style. 140 Characters or less. GO!
A fabulously geeky, passionate, and fun blog about young adult and paranormal romance literature!
3.- A TV Show. A Movie. A Song.
Doctor Who. Bright Star. "Come Wake Me Up" by Rascal Flatts.
4. Subject A comes from under a rock and finds Subject B and wants a recommendation for a good book. What should Subject B recommend?
You want a GOOD book. A book that takes you on a journey and makes you feel something and is just generally amazing. HMMM. This is a two-parter, one for YA, and one for other becaue, well, there are two that come to mind. If it's a YA read, it's Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver, because... *flails* It's amazing. If it's another genre, it's The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, because I love Kvothe like I love chocolate, and that's some serious love there.
5. Upcoming release you are most exited about?
Timepiece by Myra McEntire. Time travel PLUS a sizzling romance...and oh yes...Kaleb. YES PLEASE.
6. YA Character you have the biggest crush on?
Whoa, Jude, way to throw out the impossible question. ;) Probably Etienne St Clair because well, is there anyone more perfect? Nope, there isn't! Talk about SWOON-worthy. That boy definitely is.
7. and now a detailed description of your blog :)
At Once Upon a Prologue, I read and review mainly young adult literature in various sub-genres (mainly paranormal and contemporary) as well as paranormal romance with a bit of urban fantasy splashed in. I'm a unashamed geek, a fangirl, and a book lover, and I hope all that comes out in my reviews. I also have three features: Once Upon a Blooger (where I interview fellow bloggers/followers), Guest Who (where a fellow blogger/follower and I guest post on one another's blog) and If I Could Write a Letter To Me (where I write a letter to my younger blogging self with things I wish I'd known when I started blogging.)
