I'm Waiting On...
Summary:
Stephen has been invisible for practically his whole life — because of a curse his grandfather, a powerful cursecaster, bestowed on Stephen’s mother before Stephen was born. So when Elizabeth moves to Stephen’s NYC apartment building from Minnesota, no one is more surprised than he is that she can see him. A budding romance ensues, and when Stephen confides in Elizabeth about his predicament, the two of them decide to dive headfirst into the secret world of cursecasters and spellseekers to figure out a way to break the curse. But things don’t go as planned, especially when Stephen’s grandfather arrives in town, taking his anger out on everyone he sees. In the end, Elizabeth and Stephen must decide how big of a sacrifice they’re willing to make for Stephen to become visible — because the answer could mean the difference between life and death. At least for Elizabeth.

Why?
I really liked Andrea Cremer's book Nighshade (even though I have yet to finish with the series) but I remember liking it a lot, and not so long ago I became a huge fan of David Levithan's writing, he is the definitions of genius. He makes smart and funny comments and I just love him. So I am very exited for the author of this book and also intrigued because the writing style of both of hem seems quite different to me... In general the summary sounds fantastic and well, I just can't wait for this one.

You need to finish the Nightshade series! It was kind of surprising conclusion and many didn't like it though. LOL I didn't think it was too bad. I love both authors and this does sound amazing though! It was my WOW awhile ago too right when the cover came out!!!

ReplyDeleteI have to confess that I've never read anything by either of them **ducks down to avoid frying pan to the head**, but I'm very intrigued by the cover and synopsis. Great pick!
