Summary:
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

My Review:
When Luce enters Sword & Cross, a school for troubled teens, that looks and feels like a prison - in other words, a madhouse - she doesn't expect anything, much less an inexplicably hot guy, to whom she feels completely drawn to, so much that she practically stalks him. Meet Daniel. Daniel who wants nothing - and has made it very clear - with Luce.
A good part of the story goes around the relationship between this two, which, honestly, was more that a little annoying, Daniel was just a horrible person with Luce, just plain rude, pretty much of a jerk, he basically changed his name to a**H. And what's worse, is that Luce keeps coming back for more. Though if I was Daniel, I'd probably be rude too, I mean, the girl's practically stalking him! This made a big part of the book tedious. But, we always have a good guy right?
Meet Cam. Charming, Sexy, Cocky an best of all, he wants Luce. And Luce him, but she just doesn't feel a connection to him, something's missing, something she doesn't share with Cam, but only with Daniel, maybe a secret? Why do we always want the bad guy?... or is he, really the bad guy?
It takes a while to get fully into the story, but, there's romance, there's mystery and there's action, though right at the end so, you'll have to stick around. Its the kind off story where everything happens and not much happens, If you know what I mean.
My Conclusion: Fallen is a great book, effortless, engrossing and haunting, I think its a book worth reading and keeping. A well done novel.

"I don't understand what you're still doing here."
She blinked and nodded miserably, then began to turn away.
"No!" He pulled her back. "Don't leave. It's just that you've never—we've never... gotten this far." He closed his eyes. "Will you say it again?" he asked, almost shyly. "Will you tell me ... what I am?"
"You're an angel," she repeated slowly, surprised to see Daniel close his eyes and moan in pleasure, almost as if they were kissing. "I'm in love with an angel."
