Summary
There's something about the new guy at Crossroads High…
Most sixteen-year-olds have friends.
Aden Stone has four human souls living inside him:
One can time travel.
One can raise the dead.
One can possess another human.
One can tell the future.
Everyone thinks he's crazy, which is why he's spent his entire life shuffled between mental institutions and juvie. All of that is about to change, however. For months Aden has been having visions of a beautiful girl—a girl who carries centuries-old secrets. A girl who will either save him or destroy him.
Together they'll enter a dark world of intrigue and danger…but not everyone will come out alive.
My Review:
This, is one of my favorite paranormal books, ever. The story line sounds a bit confusing, you know, four souls living inside a guy, I was seriously doubtful about starting this series. But thank God I did!
Aden lives in this place for troubled teens since, nobody thinks he’s normal. Though having four souls inside your head – is not normal. Anyways, One day, he’s walking there slaying zombies – Yup. Zombies – And he finds this girl. A girl that can silence all the voices inside of him – OMG! He’s gonna fall in love with her!!!- No. that’s not gonna happened, and right now you’re probably all: Why did you tell us Jude!!? You just ruined it, you Ugly spoiler!!., Relax, you’ll find out anyways, and I think its important you know, ‘cause when I was reading and knew that they weren’t gonna stay together, I didn’t want to continue, though I forced myself to do and Oh Boy, it just gets so much better, You won’t even want Mary Ann to stay with Aden, you’ll want her to be with Riley – Steaming Hot!! – I’ll get to him later.
The story alternates around Mary Ann and Aden. Mary Ann having a little bit of trouble with a wolf, who’s too smart to be a wolf, taking care of her all the time, is he something else? –Yup. Werewolf- And Aden has troubles of his own, with a girl who seems to have a taste for. . . blood –Yup, Vampire – the four of this guys – Yeah, the werewolf being a guy. Duh – entangle in a complicated mission, trying to free the souls inside of Aden, and escaping a faith, that seems he cannot outrun. Cursed by magical Woman’s – Yup, Witches – hiding from beautiful creatures, with deadly secrets –Yup, Pixies – and others not so pretty –Yup. Elf’s – or something like that, I lost track of the monsters somewhere between four souls and a male werewolf – Duh. xD.
I’ve hear a lot of bad critics for this book, but well, not everyone can have a cup of tea – Wait, that’s not how that goes right? ^^ - yeah, you got what I meant.
I got wrapped up inside an amazing story, fascinating adventures, great characters, and an Amazing and Shocking ending –Yup, Cliffhanger – Intertwined is one of the most original, complex, cool – most definitely my cup of tea – stories I’ve ever read. 5 out of 5!
Just realized I never got to Riley! xD yeah, um. . . *scratching my head for something* He’s steaming Hot!! xD, That’s all you need to know :D
"If all we've got to look forward to is disloyalty and treachery, why do we even make friends?"
"Again, human nature. Hoping for the best is what drives us."
Great review, Jude!! :)
